Obituary Nancy Ann Scales Oliver was born August 18, 1969 to the late Billie Ruth and Donald L. Coleman. She was the youngest of six and the only child of Donald Coleman. Nancy received her education through the Cleveland Public School System. Nancy entered motherhood early with the birth of her oldest child Joseph Scales in 1985. Later she met and married Shawn Oliver Sr. to this union eight children were born, Lashonna, Shawn Jr., Stephen (deceased), Sherman, Shantaé (deceased), Samuel, Nancy and Sydney (deceased). Although legally married to Shawn Oliver Sr. she separated and moved on. In 1999 she met and was the soul mate of Realious Peek and had Destiny, Micheal and Donté. Nancy worked many odd jobs including the Polls. She was currently employed at Dining In the Arts Party Center, where she was a welcome and loved employee of Leonard Remmer and co-worker Pat Triggs. Nancy was well liked by many and had a very humorous personality. On October 16, 2010 after working a birthday party Nancy took ill. Through many prayers and love she battled hard trying to make a full recovery, on November 16, 2010 she lost the battle but not the war, she is no longer in pain, Nancy is at peace. Nancy is preceded in death by one daughter, Shantae; two sons, Stephen and Sydney. Nancy leaves to mourn her soul mate, Realious Peek; three daughters, LaShonna, Nancy and Destiny; six sons, Joseph, Shawn Jr., Sherman, Samuel, Micheal and Donté; three sisters, Alvia Wingfield (Brady), Rochelle White (David) and Renee Scales; two brothers, Ricky Scales (Nancy), Elder Bernard R. Scales (Adrienne) of Canton, Michigan; five grandchildren, Shania, carrionna, Sirron, Joseph Jr. and Decorion; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
