Wynora S. Rose

She was the eighth and last child born to Ella Steele and Willie Shepherd. Wynora was educated in the Montgomery, Alabama school system. In September 1953 she moved to Cleveland, Ohio. She married Isaac Rose, her husband of 56 years, in December 1953. Their union produced three children, Isaac Jr., Valencia and Malcolm. Wynora affectionately called "Dear", will always be remembered for her forward thinking and candid conversations. Catalog shopping was a passion of hers. Before taking ill, she loved sitting on the porch entertaining her grandchildren and children of friends. Wynora departed this life on Friday, December 11, 2009. She is preceded in death by six of her siblings. Wynora is survived by her husband, Isaac; her children, Isaac Jr., Valencia and Malcolm; brother, Roosevelt Shepherd; grandchildren, Valencia, Nicholas (Charika), Malcolm Jr., Janean, Michael and Briana; great grandchildren, Deanndre, Ashley, Joshua and Mikayla and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
