April 9th at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Ave. Cle. 44106 Mr. Willie James Stokes, 76 of Cleveland Ohio, Entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 04, 2018 at Louis Stokes VA Hospital-Cleveland Ohio. Mr. Stokes was born January 13, 1942, in Talladega Alabama, a son of Mamie Roberts and Earl Wynn. He worked at US Steel in Youngstown Ohio after returning from the Airforce. He enjoyed watching and playing sports. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Irene Stokes; brother, Fred Roberts Jr.; two daughters, Camille Stokes and Frances Lacey; stepdaughter, Tangie Jones; stepson, Bee Jones; three grandchildren, Niara Jackson, Clarissa Nadal and Christopher Nadal; seven great-grandchildren; aunt, Louise Stokes and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Roberts who passed away on May 03, 1993 and his father, Earl Wynn; and stepfather, Fred Robert Sr.
