Carolyne Turner McCullough, passed away peacefully on November, 26, 2022, at the age of 72. Her beloved husband, William Clovis McCullough Jr., age 74, was reunited with his loving wife on July 29, 2023. Together, they were the beloved and dedicated parents to William III, David, Stacey, and Morgan. The couple also were devoted grandparents to Jada, Isabelle, Ruby and Austin.
William, also known as "Bill" and "Billy," was born and reared in Cleveland, Ohio, and was an alumnus of John F. Kennedy High School. He also graduated from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. During his sophomore year, he met another student, a beautiful young lady who would change his life forever. She was Carolyne Turner, a native of Cropwell, Alabama, who grew up not far from campus in Springfield, Ohio, having graduated from Springfield South High School.
The young couple relocated to Bill's native Cleveland and started their family. Bill worked as a probation officer with Cuyahoga County before transitioning to a career with General Motors, where he was a manager in both the Assembly and Logistics departments. Carolyne was a homemaker who also supported her community by volunteering with the Invermere Street Club, Harvard Community Service Center, and Adlai Stevenson Elementary School where her children attended, all in Cleveland's southeast Lee-Harvard Community.
A repast following the memorial service will take place on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 3:00pm, in McCullough Hall at the Harvard Community Services Center, 18240 Harvard Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44128.
