Wilda D. Holloway

Wilda Deloris Holloway was born May 16, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio as one of three children to Gladys & William Waters Sr.

Wilda grew up in the greater Cleveland area, graduating from John Hay High School in 1949. She was long time member of the Paragon Club, and also an active member at her church home, Saint John AME Church of Cleveland Ohio. Her favorite bible verse that she lived by was "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you".

She was married to Ralph Holloway Sr until his passing 2007. Wilda had three beautiful children, Deborah Holloway-Ethridge, Ralph Holloway Jr, & Wayne Holloway Sr, aka "Cadillac."

Wilda retired from the U.S. Government where she worked as a district manager until she retired in 1989. She enjoyed playing bridge, shopping, and traveling. Wilda spent her final days watching her Court TV and eating good, in the good care of her youngest son, Wayne Holloway Jr.

Wilda was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one son, Ralph Holloway Jr; and her grandson, Wayne Holloway Jr.

Wilda's leave behind a son, Wayne Holloway Sr. aka "Cadillac"; and daughter, Deborah Ethridge; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and plenty of other family, & dear friends.
