Wesley Donnell Funches

Wesley Donell Funches, was born on January 14, 1967, to Wesley B. Funches, and Dorothy J. Patterson. Wesley grew up in a Christian home and expressed his faith in Christ at an early age. He has four siblings.

On June 22, 2021 Wesley moved from this earthly home to a better place the Lord has prepared for him. Wesley grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Cleveland Heights High School then attended Tiffin University where he obtained and Bachelor' s Degree in Business Management.

Wesley married Cynthia Funches and over the years welcomed two children a daughter DeAndria Funches, and a son Jaylen Funches. Wesley resided in Cleveland, Ohio where he worked as a truck driver for his company, Funches Transportation.

Wesley was a man who liked to enjoy himself; he enjoyed sports and was a diehard Browns fan win or lose. He enjoyed traveling, he enjoyed his family and friends he was always there to lend a helping hand.

Brother Wesley D. Funches was a faithful and active member of King Solomon Lodge #2 A.F. & A.M. of Cleveland Ohio where he served as Junior Warden. He also was the President for the Affiliated 7 Kings Charity. Brother Wesley D. Funches also was an active member of St. John's Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. Jurisdiction of Ohio where he held the appointed positions of Grand Tyler & Grand Junior Deacon; but more importantly he served as the Grandmaster's Liaison for state and national events.

Wesley's hobbies included Golfing, spending time with his family and friends, enjoying his grandchildren, and primarily anything that brought him Joy.

Wesley is preceded in death by his father, Wesley B. Funches, his brother Diondre Funches, Grandparents Louis Funches, and Jessie Mae Adams, and his Great Grandmother "Big Mama" Maybell Franklin. He leaves to mourn his loving mother Dorothy Funches, His wife Cynthia Funches, His sisters Anita (Shawn) Howard. Melanie (William) Miller; and brother, Russell (Lakeesha) Funches.

Also in mourning are his children DeAndria Funches, and Jaylen (Tniyah) Funches, his entire family will remember and cherish his long life.

Grandchildren, Chance Jonell Funches, Naziah Jaylen Funches, and Nailah Kree Funches.

Wesley also leaves to cherish his memory a host of Uncles, Aunts, nieces, and nephews, friends, Mason Brothers and Family.
