Walter Howard, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully at home on March 6, 2025, at the age of 86.

Born on September 13, 1938, Walter was a graduate of East Technical High School and had a strong engineering background. He honorably served his country as a veteran, a commitment that shaped his disciplined and hardworking nature.

Walter spent his life dedicated to his family and passions. He took immense pride in his home and yard, finding great joy in maintaining and beautifying his surroundings. Above all, he deeply loved his wife, Diane Howard, with whom he shared a cherished life together.

Walter was previously married and from that union was blessed with two daughters, Alicia Howard and Phyllis Howard. He is also survived by three sisters, Michelle, Ava, and Lorin; five grandchildren, Tiffanie, Phylicia, Stephanie, Terrence, and Maya; and one great-grandchild, Alexandria. Additionally, he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Walter's legacy of love, strength, and dedication will continue to live on through those who knew and loved him.
