Walter Gary

Walter Gary was born on January 30, 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio to Lena Mims and Hayward Gary, Sr. Walter Gary was seven of eight children, which included Theadara Gary, Carrie Gary, Hayward Gary, Jr. (Gerry Gary), Michael Gary, Agnes J. Gary, David Gary (Tracie Owens-Gary), and Eric Gary. He, also, had two half-sisters named Erica Prescott and Richetta Lark and a stepsister named Lia Mims. Walter had two beautiful children, who he loved dearly, Ashley Bohanon and Lindsey Marlena Gary. Walter attended Euclid High School. Christian Fellowship is where he accepted Christ and spiritual direction. Walter was a workaholic! At the time of his passing, he worked for The Ruhlin Company as a Construction Worker. Walter loved old school cars, Western Cowboy movies, and he was very stylish. Walter was a loving, caring man and would help anyone in need. He was known around the neighborhood as Bear and people knew they could count on him. God called Walter home on September 15, 2018. Family members who preceded Walter in death are Hayward Gary, Sr. (Father), Annette Harris (Stepmother), Charles Mims, Sr. (Stepfather), Charles Mims, Jr. aka Pooh, Yvonne Mims (stepsister), Dalantae, and Andre Mims (Cousin). Walter leaves behind his mother Lena Mims, siblings, daughters, his girlfriend, Sandy Richardson, a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, his best friend "Boo", and many other friends and family members. Walter Gary, 47; passed away Saturday, September 15th; Memorial Services will begin 10 AM on Saturday, September 22nd at Christian Fellowship Center 14713 Lakeshore Blvd. Cleveland, Ohio 44110
