Valerie Lea Young

VALERIE L. (Jacobs) YOUNG was born in Shreveport, LA. To parents Fletcher and Hattie Jacobs, they moved to Cleveland, OH in 1945. Valerie was married to Wade Young (deceased) and had two wonderful children, Anthony Young Sr. and Michael Young, then later divorced. Valerie was a hardworking Master Teacher, passionate about learning! She even went back to school to earn additional degrees and her Masters! Over the years of developing and molding young minds, many students remained in contact and praised her for her teachings! Valerie had a creative eye for design and loved gardening. She spent countless hours and effort to show her style decorating her home and planting a variety of flowers. Valerie leaves to celebrate her life, her parents, Fletcher and Hattie Jacobs; brother, Gregory Jacobs, deceased brothers, Fletcher Jacobs Jr. and Dwight (Carolyn) Franklin; sisters, Beverly (Walter) Williams (deceased), Lela (Rodney) Clay and Janelle Jacobs; her beloved children, Anthony (Julie) Young Sr. and Michael Young; grandchildren, Chelsea Young, Autumn Young and Anthony Young Jr.; great grandchildren, Jazmyne Young and Ailjah Young along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
