Tyrone Brown

August 26, 1956 — June 25, 2012

Tyrone Brown was the second of six children born on August 26, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to Lorene and the late Willie Brown. Tyrone departed this life on Monday, June 25, 2012. Tyrone accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and like so many of us sometimes he would get weak and stray away but, he would always find his way back. He really loved the Lord and loved reading God's Word. Tyrone, B.K.A Tuni, went to East High School. Later Tyrone met his wife Debra. Debra & Tyrone moved to Portland, Oregon in 1985 and were married in September 1986. Out of that union came six children. Tyrone had many things he enjoyed doing in his life such as playing chess, dominoes, puzzles, video games and telling stories, singing and writing were also a big passion of his. There was never a day when Tyrone wasn't singing! He was very proud of all his children. He was very funny, kind and a generous person! Tyrone had a major sweet tooth as he would say "delicious sweets". Tyrone had a spiritual side of him, he believed in his Savior Jesus Christ and he knew that Jesus loved him and had forgiven him of his sins. Tyrone was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church where he loved to Praise The Lord. Tyrone is survived by his mother Lorene Byers; brother Michael Brown (Barbara), sisters Valerie Aikens, Rosalind Hooker (Sylvester-deceased), Terri Byers & Donna Byers; sons Tyrone L. Poole, Markeith L. Brown, Michael O. Brown and Frederick Jamison Sowell; daughters, Melody D. Brown, Maranda Brown, Honni Brown & Amber Brown; six grandchildren Taliyah, Orion, Jaedynce, Aniya, Maliyah and Ellisa; Etta Asuuman and family, Michelle Warner and family, Laura Poole and family, William Coleman, Dwayne Walker and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
