Terry Allen Jones

Terry Allen Jones was born on August 1, 1955. He was the loving son of Robert Payne (deceased) and Juanita Jones. Terry accepted the Lord and Savior at an early age. He attended Glenville High School and became one of the top athletes in the state of Ohio in baseball and football. Terry attended Indiana University in 1973. Terry joined and made a career in the United States Navy where he served his country in Desert Storm. He retired from the United States Navy after twenty years of service in 2006. Terry met and married Valerie Brooks (who preceded his death) and to this union, one daughter Valerie Joy Jones was born. In 1991 Terry was stationed in San Diego California where he then met Monica Ogletree. They wed October 19, 1996, and from that union, they had two sons: Terry Jones II and Tavier Jones. Terry leaves to mourn his mother, Juanita Jones; wife, Monica Jones; devoted children, Andre Hicks (Johnicica), Christopher Shuford, Valerie Jones, Terry Jones II, and Tavier Jones; his loving sister Renee Jones who preceded him in death; one auntie, Evelyn Dudley; one niece, Marquita Harden; as well as a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews and special friends/brother Randolph Prather, Ted Ginn Sr, and Theodore Washington. Terry Allen Jones passed away Sunday, September 30th; Funeral Services will begin at 10 AM on Monday, October 15th at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44106; Interment is scheduled for 10 AM, Tuesday, October 16th at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Road Seville, Ohio 44270
