Terreall Lee Graves of Cleveland, Ohio, was born on February 16, 1947 to the late John and Mary Graves. He was the last of 8 children.
Affectionately called "Terry" by his siblings,Terreall attended John Adams High School, and went on to attend Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, later graduating from Cleveland State University with a degree in finance. After graduation he began a career in banking. Terreall was a member of the Prince Hall Freemasonry. He also was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. In 1994, Terreall married Phyllis C. Fowlkes and their union would last 24 years until Phyllis' death in 2018. Terreall had two sons, Darren Lee and the late Shawn Lee Graves with Linda Graves and had three children and one bonus child, LaTanya J. Bolden, Kandace Leigh, Jasmine Leigh and Justin Lee Graves with Alexis Graves.
Throughout his career Terreall held many positions in banking, his last position was as a Bank Examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Terreall enjoyed gardening and watching his beloved Browns and Cleveland Indians. Baseball was his favorite sport to watch on television. Terreall was proud to be the father of seven children and a grandfather of six.
He departed this life at home surrounded by family on July 22, 2021, at the age of 74.
Terreall was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Graves, wife, Phyllis C. Graves, son, Shawn Lee Graves, brother, Alvin Graves, sisters, Doris Daniel, and Vivian Morrison.
Terreall leaves to cherish his memory, children, Darren L. Graves, LaTanya J. Bolden, Holly D. Fowlkes, Kandace L. Graves, Jasmine L. Graves Black-Clemons (Quin); Justin L. Graves (Kandi); six grandchildren, Blake A. Bolden, Jeremiah J. Menefee, Savannah K. Anderson, Liliana L. Graves, Addison D. Graves Black-Clemons, and Owen Quin Graves Black-Clemons, sisters, Jennie White, Marie Whitlow (MacArthur), Florence Foster (James), and brother William Graves, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
