Sylvia Annette Crenshaw, affectionately known as "Bobie" was born August 7, 1955 to Richard Allen Philpott Sr. (deceased) and Barbara Ann Philpott. Sylvia accepted Christ as her person Savior at an early age.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio she graduated from John Hay High School. Always following her passion for education she graduated from The Wilton School of Cake Decorating and Confectionary Art and the Greater Cleveland Veterans Business Council. She received multiple awards and recognition from Local and State Representatives. Sylvia served in the U.S. Army for four years.
She was a life force with a ready smile, laughter in her steps, and had a big heart. She gave freely to those in need, loved wholeheartedly without reservation, and forgave others without question. She had many passions and enthusiasm for life that was contagious to those around her. Her passions ranged from spending quality time with loved ones, baking, cake decorating, music and learning. Her favorite quote was, "Seek ye knowledge from the cradle to the grave, and in that knowledge get understanding."
Sylvia was proceeded in death by husband John Crenshaw, grandparents, father Richard Allen Philpott Sr., Brother Andre, and Sister Mattie Ruth.
Sylvia leaves to cherish her memory her mother Barbara Philpott, sons Eric J Morgan (Keyasha) and Duane B Evans Jr. (Venica).
Grandchildren Kyra, Trevon, Jaylen, Duane III, Shyla, Aiden, and Martha. She is also survived by two God-Daughters, four great grandchildren, three brothers, one sister and one aunt.
