Stina Ronney was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 4, 1954 to the late James Williams and Dollie Mae Higgins. Stina ws the first child born of six; James, Demetrius, Anthony, Darlene, and Warren. Stina lived a life that was devoted to family and her faith. Stina accepted Christ at an early age, and was a member of Progressive memorial Baptist Church. Later in life she became a member of the Living Truth Center, Inc. in East Cleveland, Ohio.
Stina was a graduate of East High School, 1972. She was a lifetime reader, sometimes reading 10 books a week. She also took pleasure reading her Bible. Always sharing her reading with family and friends. she worked at Brown Derby, Work Wear, and New Avenues, aka, PVA.
Stina was united in holy matrimony in May 1992, to James Edward Tabb, who preceded her in death. Stina and her siblings were raised by their grandmother Dollie Mae Higgins-Gilchrist. Stina was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Stina was named after her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Stina Williams of Miami, Florida.
Stina is survived by one sister, Darlene Ronney; four brother, James Ronney, Demetrius Ronney, Anthony Ronney (Willa), Warren Ronney (Sandra), and one uncle, Dr. Charlie Williams of Miami, Florida; two nieces, Iman, and Zephora; four nephews Demetrius Jr., Dartrell, Drulawni, and Joshua; great niece, Aliyanna; and great nephew, Drulawni, Jr.
