SHAMUS McCRAY WHITE, Age 54. Public viewing is Tuesday, November 22nd from 9:00AM until 7:00PM; Funeral Services are Wednesday, November 23rd, beginning 10:00AM at Watson's Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Avenue, 44106. Shamus McCray Price was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Forestine Golson Price and Willie Whitfield on July 22, 1962. Shamus attended Cleveland Public Schools. He worked multiple jobs until his health declined. Shamus, known by many names such as "Shake Daddy, Shake D, Shakus, and Little Foots", passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at University Hospital after a battle with multiple illnesses. In 1987, he married Tammy and born from this union was his daughter Shamika. He later married Ladonna and from this union Shamon was born. Shamus loved spending quality time with his family and friends. Despite his health challenges he enjoyed life to the fullest. Shamus took his fashion cues from no one. "Shake Daddy" was one of the most stylish dressed men. Shamus was a member of "The Omens Motorcycle Club" where he was affectionately known as "Trouble". He and "Drop" spent countless hours chopping it up. If Shamus could he would let you know that his work here was done. He received his call one early Monday morning, a call he just could not refuse, for an appointment from which he would not be returning. This appointment was a reunion with family and friends that he has not seen in a long time. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will have an opportunity to socialize, dance, ride his motorcycle, and listen to music to his heart's content. Pain free, laughter, and love are guaranteed. He left detailed instructions to his family and friends - celebrate life until we meet in eternity. Shamus is preceded in death by his parents, Forestine Golson Price and Willie Whitfield; brother Andre; grandparents, Elizabeth and Sammie Golson, uncles Sammie Golson, Jr., James (Mickey) Golson, Otis Golson, Raymond Golson; and aunts Truth Golson, Barbara Golson, Ernestine Smith, Theresa Willis, and Diane Golson Merritt. Shamus leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his stepmother; Kathleen Whitfield; uncles; Ernest Golson and Ivor Golson; aunt; Beck, maternal siblings; Shanda Price, Diane (Marcus) Price, and Meardis Price (cousins raised as siblings; James Golson, Valencia Holley, Tracy Little Merritt, and Raheem (Anitra) Merritt, Sr.); paternal siblings; Veronica, Karen, Linda, Christopher, Crystal, Julian, and Ramone; children; Reginald Witherspoon, Shamika (Anthony) Lovelace, Anthony Young, and Shamon Price; granddaughter Re'Anna Moore; best friend and brother Charles "Burt" (Stephanie) Holloway; goddaughter Trina Mixon, extended family at the CDC Euclid Dialysis Center, a host of nieces and nephews (that he assisted in raising), cousins, relatives, family, and friends to whom he all adored.
