Rosa Lee Davis passed on peacefully at her home in Hudson, Ohio and was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on July 28, 2019. Born at home in Rockdale, Texas on November 18, 1933, to the late Ethel Thomas Allen. She was an only child and spent most of her childhood years in Rockdale with her cousins and grandparents, Lucy and Will Thomas, affectionately known as "Big Mama" and "Papa". Rosa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas in 1956. She worked as a pharmacist for close to 60 years. Rosa was a pharmacy manager and/or pharmacist-in-charge (PIC) at Forest City Hospital, Fairhill Mental Health Center, and Northeast Ohio Neighborhood (NEON) Health Services Collinwood center, where she worked until her retirement. Rosa married the late Roosevelt Davis in March 1957 in Houston, Texas. They moved to Cleveland, Ohio later that year. Their beautiful and loving marriage lasted almost 57 years until Roosevelt's passing in 2014. She was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Jack & Jill, Cleveland Pharmaceutical Association, National Pharmaceutical Association, and Dynasty Investors Club. Rosa accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of East Mt. Zion Baptist Church for most of her life. She is survived by her son, Ralph Eric Davis, daughter, Rhonda Kay Davis, grandson, Rondell Davis, daughter-in-law, Marlene Davis, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
