Rodney Arnold Prince was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio on November 30, 1960. He attended Cleveland Public Schools, graduating high school in 1978 from East High. After graduation he attended the Institute of Computer Management where he earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science.
Rodney’s life-long career path as a customer service representative fell in line with his natural born talent to communicate well with others. Over a 30 year career path he was employed for Huntington Bank, The Illuminating Co., AT&T, The Cleveland Clinic, and lastly The Cleveland VA Hospital. Rodney accumulated many life-long friends along his career path. Rodney was considered and Uncle/Daddy by his nephews and nieces, and affectionally know as Uncle Rodney to many. Rodney’s words of wisdom touched many, either through support, guidance, or just kind gestures to make your day a little brighter. He was not only a great cook, but the best host and party planned ever.
Rodney was the youngest of 5 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson Prince Sr., and Sallie Mullen Prince, brother in laws Darrell Walker Sr., and Larry G. Bailey. Left to morn: sister Carolyn Walker, brother Anderson Prince Jr. (Francine), sister Earnestine Neal Bailey, brother Patrick Prince (Belinda). He leaves a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. LaNard, Darrell, Darian, Sheri, Layla, Patrick Jr., Andrea, Christine, Erica, and Anderson III.
