Robin Renee Ratchford was born on April 18, 1961, in Cleveland, to her parents, Phyllis Ratchford and Charles Jones, both of whom preceded her in death. As the oldest of seven children, she grew up in the Superior/Glenville area, where she formed many lifelong friendships. Robin attended Cleveland Public Schools during her formative years.
Robin loved embracing her beauty, often changing her clothes and hair three times a day. Her vibrant and engaging personality illuminated many aspects of her life. She found joy in coloring, singing, fashion, and spending time outdoors, sharing stories with friends. Robin's life was marked by adventure and excitement, and she embraced change without hesitation. Full of life and laughter, she consistently went above and beyond her responsibilities-a trait that defined her as "Chirp," her affectionate nickname.
Her duties expanded when she became a mother, first giving birth to her oldest daughter, Rhatita. Years later, she welcomed,Lamara, Rico, and Rhonda, all of whom she cherished deeply. In 2020, Robin's health began to decline, yet even during this challenging time, she never allowed it to hinder her commitment to her responsibilities.
Robin leaves behind her four children, Rhatita, Lamara, Rico, and Rhonda-along with seven siblings, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and dear friends, all of whom will miss her profoundly.
