Robert Jeryll-Louis "Bobby aka Caddy" James, III was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 28, 1972, to Robert Jeryll-Louis James, Sr., and Peachie Harvey-Johnson.
Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Bobby accepted Christ at an early age at the Avon Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from John Adams in Cleveland, Ohio and received his high school diploma. Bobby enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he was a faithful soldier. He received an honorable discharge in 1997. After Bobby's service with the Navy, he resided in Los Angeles, CA and made long lasting friendships and married Gretchen Howzell (former wife) in 1999. While living in California he was employed as an Art's Dealer and Retro-Spector Representative.
In 2004, Bobby moved back to Cleveland, Ohio where he worked and managed several Car Dealerships. In 2011, he married (former wife) Khadejah Thompson. He was known for his Love of Cadillac's, Harleys, and his fashion sense. He enjoyed visiting and supporting family and friends, and being the life of the party. You could always count on him to show up and show out.
Preceding Bobby in death were his Parents, Robert and Peachie; Maternal Grand Parents, Bud Johnson and Jesse Mae Harvey; Paternal Grand Parents, Clark and Ruth James.
Bobby had a Loving Heart and will be Greatly Missed. He leaves to cherish his memories; Stepmother, Rose Marie James, Sisters; Lesley Ashford, Shawn James, Monique Richardson (Gary Richardson) and Pasha Roberts (Erin Lewis). Brothers; Steve James, Scott James and Joshua James (Maya James). Six Children; Jasmine "Lil Caddy" Miller (Marilyn Miller), Deija and Robert "Jeryll" James (Nicole Leon), Khaleal James (Tamu Campbell) Chanceller "Chance" James (Karen Johnson) and Robynn "Mouse" James (Gretchen James) and 5 Stepdaughters (Khadejah James), Grandson, Grand Daughter and a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, other Family and Friends.
