Robert Lewis Hill

Robert Lewis Hill was born on September 25, 1946, in Starkville, Mississippi to the late Calip Hill Sr. and Telessie Harrington. He was the seventh of thirteen children. Robert moved to Chicago when he was 20 years old in 1966 where he met Imogene Simmons. They married and had Robert Hill Junior and Eric Hill. He worked at Searle Manufacturing Company for over 10 years. Robert later moved to Cleveland in 1981 where he worked for Ohio Kitchen Cabinets for 20 years. He loved playing cards, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He sure knew how to make people laugh. Robert enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and attending basketball games. He was so proud of them. Robert Lived and enjoy life until he passed on January 18, 2020. He will be truly missed. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Calip Hill Sr. and Telessie Harrington; three brothers, J.D. Hill, John Hill, and Calip Hill Jr.; eight sisters, Fannie Gibson, Annie Sanders, Geraline Burns, Diane Hill, Marsha Wood, Alice Jordan, Bobby Stokes, and Eva Ridley.�© Robert leaves to cherish his memories his two sons, Robert Hill Junior, and Eric Hill (Jimetrice Johnson); five grandchildren, Quanekia Johnson, Yahel Hill, Immanuel Hill, Mikael Hill, and Yahir Hill; one great-grandchild, Ma'Kayla Johnson; one brother, Lorenzo (Barbara) Hill of Starkville Mississippi; brother-in-law, Roger Ridley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
