Services Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10 AM at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Ave Cleveland, Ohio 44106 As we celebrate the life of Mr. Preston R. Bell also known as "RB", we also mourn our sense of loss and sorrow, knowing that we are separated from him but only for a moment. This celebration is not complete without our reflection of his life. Preston R. Bell was born in Jacksonville, Alabama on February 18, 1923 to union of the late Clinton and Mattie Bell. He was the fourth born of nine children. On September 14, 1946 he married Atlanta Elizabeth Bell (who preceded him in death) where they later moved to Cleveland, Ohio. He served two tours of duty in World War II where he was awarded two Bronze Service Stars and also a Victory Metal. He worked for Carbone Construction as a Bricklayer for over 30 years. Preston is what you call "A Man Of Pride" who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a very hardworking man, a joy to be around, loved the company of his grandchildren because they brought out the joy in him, and always made sure that his family was well taken care of. Preston had one daughter, Gloria Ann Woods, who preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his love and precious memories his 3 sons: David L. Jones Sr., Dennis D. Marn, and Donald W. Marn, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, he is survived by two siblings: Marvin Bell and Elizabeth Caldwell, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends that he loved and truly touched.
