Percy Bahar Rahmaan, born Percy Charles Hodge, Jr., In Birmingham, Alabama to Percy Charles Hodge, Sr., and Evelyn Weems Hodge. Percy was the eldest of a total of nine (two passed at birth) and was raised with six siblings; two brothers, four sisters. Percy was educated by the Cleveland Public School System. He was raised Baptist and in early adulthood embraced the Muslim faith, he was an active member of Masjid Bilal. Percy worked several jobs in Cleveland. he was an amazing artist, He played tennis like Arthur Ashe, and enjoyed supporting the Cleveland Browns, football team. Percy was preceded in death by his father, Percy Sr. (48); mother, Evelyn (74); four siblings, Renee Jeanette (43), Donald Ray, U.S. Marines, Vet (63), Florence Yvonne (50), and Todd Coleman, U.S. Army, Vet (28). Percy was married first to Diane Watkins and had son, Percy Charles Hodge, III (June) who resides in Columbus, Ohio with two children, Hannah & Paul. Percy also has a son named Christopher. Percy's last marriage to LaVerne who continued a "best friend relationship" after their divorce. Percy is survived by two sisters, Sandra Ann Hanes of Royal Oak, MI, and Beverly Gail Hodge (Robert) of Oakland, CA; nephews, King of Illinois, Michael (Ashley) of Hayward, CA, Taniya of Cleveland, OH and Zandria (Andre) of Maple Heights, OH. As well as several great grandnieces and nephews. Percy prevailed to Paradise on April 1, 2020.
