Pamela Lynn Lockett

August 27, 1955 — February 20, 2019

Pamela Lockett was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 27, 1955 to Lafayette Williams and Mary Lou Smith Williams. She grew up in Cleveland and attended Cleveland Public Schools. Upon graduating high school, she continued her studies at Cuyahoga Community College. Pam worked for Jones Day of Cleveland as a word processor for many years until she became ill. Pam accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. In her later years she became a faithful member of Balm In Gilead MBC where she happily served as an usher up until her death. In her early years Pam enjoyed modeling and competing in beauty pageants which she won numerous trophies as a result she was selected as part of the Cleveland Cavaliers first cheerleading squad known as the Cavalettes. Pam loved spending quality time with her mom and sisters which always included shopping and going on occasional bus trips out of town. Saturdays was a special day for her when she would get together watch movies, have fun with her family, and share a good home cooked meal. Pam met and married Windell Lockett, Jr. in 1981. They lived in Maple Heights for years and from this union a son was born Bryan Anthony Lockett whom she adored. She leaves to cherish in her loving memory her son Bryan, her loving father who preceded her in death Lafayette Williams, her mother Mary, sisters Deborah and Loretta of Cleveland. She will be missed by her grandchildren Amaria and Bryan. As well as by scores of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many personal friends.
