Nettie Belle Elmore

NETTIE BELLE ELMORE, AGE 94; Passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015. She was born to the union of Stella Johnson Thomas and John Thomas in Cleveland, Ohio. Nettie was the second of eleven children. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers. She was educated in the Cleveland Public School System. She worked at Sunny Acres Hospital for many years as a dietary Supervisor. Nettie met and fell in love with Leroy Elmore and they were married in 1940. She leaves to cherish her memories, her four children; Leroy Elmore (Gloria), Kathryn Deskins (Delmus), Donna Lake (Stanley), and Paulette Gibson; thirteen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Curtis Thomas, Delores mixo, Vivia Williams, and Juaneta Bethue; along with a host of other relatives and friends. SERVICES ARE ON SATURDAY, MARCH28; WAKE 9:30 AM, FUNERAL 10:00 AM at WATSON'S FUNERAL HOME, 1091 SUPERIOR AVENUE. Interment is in Evergreen Memorial Park.
