Neoma B. Patterson

Neoma Patterson born June 27,1935, in Cleveland, Ohio to Walter Long and Ollie Berry, and one brother, Percy.

Neoma grew up and attended Cleveland Public schools. She joined Glenville Church of God in 1966, later becoming an active member of Christian Church of Deliverance Outreach Ministry for Christ. Later she became a member of the Eastern Star, Ada Grand chapter in 1971. Neoma enjoyed teaching Sunday school, shopping and traveling.

Neoma joined Ben Brown in holy matrimony,from that union came seven children. Later in life she married Nathan Patterson, & eventually retired in 1997 from Joseph & Feiss, after over 30 years.

Neoma was passionate about family and friends, spending as much time as possible with them until her time of death on Friday, November 27, 2020.

Neoma was preceded in death by both her parents; both spouses; her brother, Percy Allen; and daughters, Gloria Fryerson, and Deborah Brown.

Left to cherish her memory are Ben Brown (Peggy), Theressa Fryerson, Melvin Brown (Jaquetta), Doris and Marvin Brown; grandchildren, Herbert, Maurice, Lori Fryerson, Eric, Derrick (Tiffany), Kevin (Jennifer), Christopher, Melvin Brown Jr., Tremera Pierre (Charlotte), Tiffany Ford (Rhashod), Rosalyn Recko (Kyah), Jocelyn Stone (Mario),Reginald Smith and Brittany Jones; 23 Great-Grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
