Minnie Louise Edwards was born January 7, 1935, to the late Suzie Mae, and James E. Williamson in Sylacauaga, Alabama. Louise was the third of five children born into the Williamson family.
In 1944, the Williamson family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio where Louise graduated from East Technical High School. In early 1952, Louise met the love of her life, Raymond Edwards, when Raymond came to visit a long time friend at the Williamson's home. After a few months of courtship the two wed on October 25, 1952, and shared nine children together.
Louise worked for many years at Ramsey Laboratory, when the company moved out of state, Louise worked for Mr. Coffee until she retired. Louise enjoy taking care of her family, weekend car rides out of town with her family, playing cards (Bid Whist), cooking, and listening to blues and gospel music. She received Christ at an early age, and was an active member of Second St. Luke's Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher.
Louise left this earth and became an angel on the morning of April 30, 2021. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Janie Mae Rogers, Mildred Williamson, James E. Williamson, Jr, and Charles Williamson; children, Diane Edwards, Raymond Edwards Jr, Joyce Chandler, and Rominta Edwards.
Louise leaves to cherish her memory are her husband, Raymond Edwards; daughters, Kathy Smith (Jerry), Kenneth Kilgore, Seacondia Rawls (Gilbert), Deborah Simpson (Larry), Sherry Edwards, and Angela Nelson (Stephen); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as friends that loved her dearly.
