Michael Wayne Morris

Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44106 Michael Wayne Morris B.K.A. as "Stro" was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on January 7, 1952 to the late Arthur and Gloria Morris. Michael obtained his GED at the Woodland Job Center. He attended several other technical trade colleges until finding a career in the painting industry. He was a professional painter with over 28 years of experience; he began his career in Detroit Michigan with his uncle. He returned to Cleveland to pursue his trade with Herman Painting Co in 1981 and worked up until 2010. Michael will always be remembered for his positive attitude. Throughout his illness he remained positive and never complained. He was loved by all that knew him; he had a way of making you laugh no matter what the situation. Michael was a fan of his Cleveland sports teams no matter their record- he loved the Cleveland Browns. He was kind hearted and would do anything that was in his power if asked. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior prior to departing this earthly realm. He will be truly missed by everyone he knew and loved him. Michael was preceded in death two children D'Angelo and Terrance. Michael leaves to cherish his memory: his son Michael (Tara), daughter Jaricka, daughter in law Alanda, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Arthur Morris Jr., Dennis Morris, Gerald Morris of Michigan, Terri Morris of Maryland, Marsha Morris, Stacie Walker, and a host of other relatives and friends.
