Michael Shelton Franklin

Michael was born August 7, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio to Claude and Bernice Franklin. He was the seventh of eight children.

As a child he was very energetic and kept his mother busy running behind him. Michael attended Cleveland and Cleveland Heights public schools. He graduated from Cleveland Heights high school in June 1976 where he excelled in basketball.

Michael obtained his Bachelor of Science and Business Administration from Point Park College following in Bobby, and Lloyd's footsteps where they all excelled in basketball.

After holding several jobs, he was employed by the City of Cleveland until his death.

Michael was one of the nicest men you would want to meet, He loved, and was loved by many. He was a practical thinking man and he totally enjoyed dressing up and watching all sports events.

Michel was preceded in death by his parents, Claude, and Bernice Franklin; sisters Gloria Jean, and Barbara Ann; and cherished nephew, Miles "Scooby".

Michael lives to cherish his memory, his son, Michael; five brothers, Isaa, Bobby "Butch" (Jan), Lloyd, and Willie; one sister, Deborah; nephews, Xavier, Bobby Jr, and Lloyd; one niece, Nicole; two great nieces, Camille, and Mila; two great nephews, Xavier Jr, and Zion; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
