Miasha Kimbrough was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Ruthie Kimbrough and Marnell Mitchell. Miasha accepted Christ at a very young age at Christian Pentecostal Assembly Church.
She attended Shaw High School Job Corps, where she earned her GED and received training in Architecture.
Miasha was affectionately known by several nicknames: Esha Dog, Bop, and Peppermint Pattie. She always had her own unique style and loved to travel, dress up, party, dance, and enjoy good food. She will always be remembered for her distinct voice.
On January 6, 2025, Miasha went home to be with those who preceded her in death, including her grandmother, Lula Mae, and grandfather, Charlie Robinson.
Esha leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her mother, Ruthie Kimbrough; her father, Rocky (Sharon); her grandmother, Flomela Hunt; her close friend, John Washington; her two sons, Marquise and Donqueze; her sister, Debra (Marc) Jenkins; and siblings Meka, Johnny, Trina, Brandon, Stephanie Glenn, and Erica Hookfin. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
