Marilyn Denise Winfield was born on the 17th day of March in 1955, to the late Isaac Hicks and Artha Lee Hicks. "Niecy" was the only child!

Marilyn was born in Decatur, GA and at a young age her family moved to Cleveland, OH. She accepted and devoted her life to Christ at an early age. She came to know the Lord at Starlight Baptist Church. Marilyn married Raymone Winfield and was married for 25 loving years.
