Marguerite "Monique" Germany (nee, Craig) was born to the proud parents of Matthew Craig (decreased) and Yuvonne "Bonnie" Craig (nee, Brooks) on November 23, 1967, at Metropolitan General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Monique attended Cleveland Public Schools. She received the Lord into her life as a young adult and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church under the Leadership of Reverend Dr. Stephen Rowan.
Monique has fought the "good fight of faith" while battling kidney failure over the last 39 years. She endured like a "good soldier" while pouring love and care into the lives of many. Monique had a genuine love for children and served as a Child Caregiver (an anchor) to many babies, youth, teenagers and young adults. She has numerous godchildren whom she took under her wings to deposit wisdom, be a listening ear, support and be a place of refuge as needed.
Monique took her spiritual journey home at 10:11 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at University Hospitals, Cleveland, Ohio. She joins her husband, Otis Germany Jr., taking her "Ticket to Paradise" and many other family and friends who had preceded her.
Monique leaves to mourn her mother, Bonnie; niece, (TeeTee baby), Sha'Leah Wade; sisters and their children Yvette Beasley-Golphin (Keion); Debby Crayton (Brian, Brandi, Darrell, Ronnie, Sherrie and James III); Relonn Smith (Jasmon, India and deceased Christopher and Christian); Nikesha Brooks (Aaliyah) and Kimberly Wright (Dasani and Tiana). Stepdaughter Otisha Hawkins (Germany). She has a host of other family members: grandnieces, grandnephews, godchildren, god-grandchildren, cousins and friends.
