Margaret Jean Buckhalter was born on September 27, 1952 in Clarksdale Mississippi to Lillie Mae Townsend and William H. Wright. Margaret was Lillie Mae's third oldest of five children.

Margaret was raised in Clarksdale, Mississippi and received a catholic school education where she graduated from Immaculate Conception in Clarksdale .

Later in Life Margaret migrated to Chicago, Illinois to be with her sister Mary Shields and the Fisher Family. Margaret proudly worked for the University of Chicago for 12 years. If you knew Margaret you know she was a lover of fine things, music, cooking, reading and writing. Margaret went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 17, 2021.

Margaret was preceded in death by both parents, William Wright, and Lillie Cummings; Brother, Larry; Sister, Yvonne; and forever cherished daughter, Lacreissa A. Wright.

Margaret leaves to cherish her memory her partner in life for 25 years, Eli Richardson; siblings, Mary Shields of Daytona Beach, Florida , Toni Wright, and Deborah Maddox (John ) of Cleveland , Ohio, Tyrone Wilson of Chicago Illinois & William (Herman) Wright of Clarksdale Mississippi. The Fisher Family, Special Cousins, Lillie Bee, Sharon, Louistine, Dorothy Jean, Julia Marie, Chesia & Rose Lee. Dear Friends, Matha, Willie, Lois, and Joe. As well as her God-Children, Deshauni and DeMarjé.
