Loving mother of McKinley Tate III and Tyra Ann Tate; dear daughter of Emmett P Hilliard Sr. and the late Annie Young Hilliard; cherished sister of Emmett P. Hilliard Jr. "Buddy" and Bonita Hilliard; devoted grandmother of eight; recently installed Queen Mother of the Akan Culture in the African American Community.
