Lynda M. Stewart-Cooper

November 24, 1954 — September 15, 2020

Lynda Marie Rudd Cooper was born to the late Vera Nadine, and Marvin Rudd on November 24, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Lynda accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She started out at the Salvation Army Church at the tender age of 6, she later joined Olivet Baptist Church and was baptized at 11 years old. Lynda later received her calling from God, to be a part of his ministry.

Lynda attended Cleveland Public School System and transferred to Longview High School in Longview Texas. She went on to Cosmetology School and Theology School and was ordained an Elder.

Lynda was married on August 20, 2005, to her loving husband, Robert Cooper. Together, they enjoyed attending church and caring for their family.

Lynda enjoyed feeding the neighborhood, that was her passion. She also had her own ministry called, Victorious Women Helping Women. Lynda had a love for her family and friends, after the death of her mother, she accepted the love of the new Mrs. Bernice Rudd.

Lynda loved fashion, shopping, traveling, designing things, and ministering to incarcerated people to get them integrated back into society. She was the precinct personin ward seven. She worked alongside T.J. Dow and the Councilman Basheer Jones.

Lynda took he rfinal flight on September 15, 2020, at Siedman Cancer Center. God called her and said Well done my faithful servant. She leaves precious memories to one daughter, Shamonique; three sons, Kenny, Dalanti, Pierre and, Deshawn, whom she raised as her own; stepchildren, Latonya, Gerald, and Sabrina; 34 grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Rudd-Loving (Tylis); stepmother, Bernice Rudd; step brothers, and sisters, Sheila, Paul, Maurice and Oliver; one special niece, Ladaisha; childhood friends, M, Lynn, Terry, Pat, Phyillis, Brenda, Sam, and Valerie; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousisn, and friends.

Thanks to the faithful people whom work at the food pantry. We love you Lynda, but God loves you best. Now its time for you to rest.
