Luerean Talley

LueRean Talley was born to Josie Forman Marks and Joe Marks in Indianola, Mississippi, on June 19, 1938. She was the eighth of nine children. LueBirda Marks, Elvie Spry, Beatrice Smith, Annie L Hawkins, Lillian Anderson, James Edward Marks, Margrette Berry and Mattie B. Hill.

LueRean confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pilgrims Green Baptist Church is Indianola Mississippi. She attended Stephensville Elementary and met her lifetime friend Dorothy McCaleb Hamilton then Gentry High School, then in 1953 she moved to Cleveland, Ohio went to Patrick Henry and graduated from the old East Tech High in June of 1959. In school, LueRean was a member of student council and various clubs. In the 70's she attended Cuyahoga Community College.

She met the love of her life in 1955 on a bet. Lucius Talley's friend bet him that he wouldn't get off the bus and talk to LueRean, so he got off the bus and spoke to her and on September 16, 1961 they were united in Holy Matrimony at St Agnes Catholic Church. Shortly thereafter, she joined the catholic church. To this union two children were born, Laurence Edward Talley and Lauri Josiette Talley.

LueRean started her career at Lakeside Hospital in 1957 were she met Cassie Potts and LuVern Eiland. She also worked at the Stouffer's Somerset Inn Hotel in The Grog Shop, Magnetics International as a supervisor, City of Bedford Heights and retired from Matrix/Loreal USA in May 18, 2007. Her diligent work also afforded her the opportunity to establish many long-term, loving friendships.

She also had many loving friends in the community of Bedford Heights, Oakwood Village and through St Mary's of the Immaculate Conception.

She was a person that never met a stranger and was outstanding at establishing and maintaining many deep, meaningful and personal relationships with everyone close to her.

LueRean was an world traveler, proficient gardener, avid bowler, and amateur photographer. She also enjoyed baking and sharing her world-famous biscuits, banana bread, zucchini bread and pound cakes.

LueRean was as comical as she was loving. .
