MEMORIAL SERVICE 3:00 P.M. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2016 at KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESS 1838 NOBLE RD. CLEVELAND, OH 44112 Linda Ann Lowe was born January 27, 1947 to Esther Jane Walters and Lewis Lowe. She was born at City Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the eldest of seven children. Larry (deceased), Claron, Dexter, Michael, Keith and Stephanie. Linda was preceded in death by two husbands. From those unions came five children; Sonya, Rhonda, Danielle (deceased), Rochelle and Brian. Linda was raised by her Great Aunt Martha Thornton who introduced bible truths to her. Linda was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on January 22, 1975. Linda raised her children to appreciate the Bible's message. She was a tough strong mother. She prided herself on telling the truth and she expected the same from her children and grandchildren. She started her full time ministry as a pioneer on January 1, 1999 dedicating over 800 hours a year in sharing bible knowledge with all who would listen. She aided a host of people to come to an accurate knowledge of the Bible and to have a personal relationship with Jehovah. Even when she was too ill to leave the house she searched for opportunities to teach individuals how to become God's friend even contacting those who lost a loved one in death to show them from the Bible the hope of a future resurrection. Linda was always a leader, it showed in her faith as well as her occupation, ending her career as a manager of Environmental Services at Kaiser Permanente. Linda loved art, music, dancing, sports, and cars. Her all time loves were elephants and Mickey Mouse. Her home stayed filled with various elephants and Mickey Mouse collections. In her later years, she downloaded Facebook just to play Candy Crush. She even called and sent texts to her children and grandchildren to ask to send her Candy Crush lives. Linda was outgoing, genuine, upbeat, outspoken, lively, and one of a kind. She was fun, loving and very protective of her family. She was assertive, something people loved about her and very down to earth. She was always ready to give advice and be a shoulder to lean or cry on. She didn't sugarcoat things, and made sure she "kept it real". She had loads of friends; everyone enjoyed her courageous and determined personality. In July 2015, Linda found out a previous battle she had beat with kidney cancer had returned, this time spreading to her brain. She fought this battle for eight months. In her last month she was tired and ready to be at peace. She showed her strength by letting her family know she was ready. She wasn't scared because of her love for Jehovah. She knew she would see us all again in a future paradise. In her final week, she was able to hear her family and friends proclaim their love for her, and let her know it is okay to be at peace. A blessing for all that loved her; she held on without being in pain and heard all of our voices, until Friday, February 19, 2016 at 6:39 pm. Her prayer for no more pain and suffering had been answered. Linda is survived by her siblings; Claron, Dexter, Michael, Keith, and Stephanie. Four children; Sonya, Rhonda, Rochelle and Brian, grandchildren; Cote, LaKeisha, Thomas, Ashely and Alexis; six great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be missed deeply by all of us.
