Leonzo LeRoy Bufford, affectionately known by others as King Leo, was born to the union of Joan and Dwight Bufford, on July 27, 1974 in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Leonzo grew up in East Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Shaw High School in 1992. He went on to further his education at Cleveland State University. He was employed for many years at Tops which later became Giant Eagle. During this time he was also employed at Kohls where he met Takenya Johnson in October of 1997. On August 15, 1998 they were married. To this union a set of twins were born, Destinee Elaine and Leonzo Jr. In June of 2005, Leonzo began working for Zircoa. He was currently employed with them. Leonzo was a hard-working man. He was an excellent provider for his children. Leonzo was a loving and devoted father, a great uncle, a passionate and loyal friend, a loving brother and a loving son. He was charming with a kind heart and a smile that would light up the room. He loved reading graphic novels and comic books. He enjoyed playing video games and listening to the Rover Morning Show. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Leonzo was the President of the Heavy Metal Motorcycle Club, Cleveland Chapter. Leonzo was a family man, he loved hanging out with his son, who was also his best friend and talking on the phone to his princess, Destinee. Leonzo departed this life on August 8, 2016. He is proceeded in death by his father-Dwight and grandmother- Florence. Leonzo will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: His loving mother Joan A. Bufford; his sister Joyce Smith; his son Leonzo Jr; his daughter Destinee; his nephews Quinn & Quashawn Smith; his great nephew Quinell Burch-Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Services are on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Watson's Funeral Home, 10916 Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106; Wake 10:00 AM and Funeral at 10:30 AM. Public viewing on Friday, August 19th at the funeral home from 9AM until 7PM. Interment is in Riverside Cemetery.
