Funeral Services being SATURDAY, MAY 14, 2016; WAKE: 1:00 P.M. & HOMEGOING: 3:30 P.M. at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 SUPERIOR AVENUE CLEVELAND, OHIO 44106 Leonard James Ingram Sr, L.J. was born, to Charlie David and Gwendolyn Joyce Ingram in Cleveland, Ohio on January 21, 1958. As a young man in addition to being known as L.J. he also had the nickname "Hatchie". L.J. lived with his parents for a little while in Black Jack, Oklahoma. Then the family moved to Long Beach, California, where he graduated from Poly High School in Long Beach. In 1981 Leonard met the love of his life Margaret Pope and from this union they had two children. L.J. was self-employed as a Master Mechanic and was fond of saying "I'm a Ingram we turn wrenches and screws." He was also known for his infamous and delicious Bar B Que, and his unique one of a kind whistle. L.J. departed this earth and entered into eternity on May 10th 2016. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Belinda Ingram- Mitchell and brother, Charlie D Jr. L.J. leaves to treasure his memories, daughter, LeLinda; son, Leonard J Jr; step-daughter, Shanise Pope; a special son and daughter, Oscar Wright and Virginia Dawson; granddaughters, Nakita Ingram, Nakerra Ingram and Shyanne Brown; grandsons, Kameron Ingram and Trevione Brown; special grandson, Demario Dawson; A very special friend, Michelle Wright, and unique cousin Arlette Ingram- Scott; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He shall be greatly missed by us all.
