Leola Bailey

LEOLA BAILEY was born April 16, 1933 in Hazard Kentucky to Ike and Iona Gipson (deceased). Leola attended school in Hazard until her family moved to East Liverpool, Ohio where she finished school. Leola moved to Richmond, Indiana for a while then moved back to East Liverpool where she met and married Miller Bailey (deceased) in 1955. In 1956 Leola moved with her husband to Cleveland, Ohio where Miller found work in Republic Steel Mill. Out of Miller and Leola's union six children were born, one son, Dennis Scott is deceased. Leola was a homemaker, loving mother and wife for 57 years. Leola Passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012; She leaves to cherish in her memory, Miller Jr. (Kelly), Vicki (Majeedah), Wanda, Rose (Mitchell), Nekoyia; two brothers, Benford Gipson of Youngstown, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.SERVICES ARE ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6th, 2012; WAKE 10:00AM, FUNERAL 10:30AM AT WATSON'S FUNERAL HOME, 10913 SUPERIOR AVENUE. INTERMENT ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 8th AT 11:00AM AT SPRING GROVE CEMETERY, EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO.
