Lazllious Marbury

Lazllious Marbury, known to everyone as "Zeke", passed away on January 8th, 2018 at the age of 68. Born September 19th, 1949 in Alexander City, AL, he was the son of Annie Mae Hill Marbury (deceased) and Ellious Marbury (deceased). Zeke accepted Christ at an early age and attended Sweet Home United Methodist Church. He was educated in the Attalla School System where he graduated from Norris High School in 1967. He then moved to Cleveland, Ohio at the age of 18 where he worked for Republic Steel for many years. In 1991, Zeke met Bridget White and together they had 2 kids, Tierra (1992) and Justin (1994). He also had a son, Lazllious Gails (deceased) from a previous relationship. In his spare time, Zeke loved barbecuing and spending time with family. He was known for his ribs, chili, and sweet potato pies. He was a loving, caring person and made anyone he came into contact with laugh. He is preceded in death by parents, Annie Mae Hill Crumpler and Ellious Marbury; son, Lazllious Gails; stepfather, Walter Lee Crumpler and three brothers; Ellious Marbury Jr, William Marbury, and Gregory Marbury. Zeke leaves to cherish his loving memories, his daughter, Tierra White; son, Justin White; six sisters: Ekra Marbury (Toney) Tolbert, Deborah Crumpler and Annie Renea (Rodney) Hicks all of Gadsden, AL; Linda (Willie) Cosby, Donna Mayweather and Jennifer (John) Franklin, all of Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Walter Curtis Crumpler of Gadsden, AL and Brian Lamonte Marbury of Chattanooga TN; one step sister, Lisa Starkey of Chattanooga TN; close friend, Ethel Hester; first niece, Alethea Diona Tinker; first nephews, Roderick Marbury and Derrick Tolbert; aunt, Lorene Hill of Dayton OH; cousins, Viola Hill of Attalla, AL and Ethel Goggans of Cleveland, OH along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, devoted relatives and friends.
