Larry Cunningham was born in Meridian, Mississippi on March 26, 1958 to Loretta Cunningham and the late Walter Cunningham Sr. Larry accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member Open Door Missionary Baptist Church. Larry attended Cleveland Public Schools. He developed a passion for driving trucks at the age of 17. He dedicated his entire 36 year working career to the L. Gray Barrel & Drum Company, a family owned business. As a young man, Larry spent most of his summers in Mississippi with his grandparents and cousins. He was an excellent baseball player. He also enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family and many friends. Larry was proceeded in death by his father, Walter Cunningham Sr. brother, Lavelle Cunningham, grandparents, Lomack and Georgia Gray and Willie and Eloise Cunningham. He leaves to cherish his memories...his mother, Loretta Cunningham, brother, Walter Cunningham Jr. (Felicia), of Atlanta GA., sister, Michelle Cunningham-Moore(Tim), of Mentor, OH. His children: Latasha Russell, Chanita Fairly, and Lawrence Cunningham Jr. all of Cleveland, OH. Kasha Jackson of Las Vegas, NV. and Dorian Mills (US Navy). Eleven grandchildren, 12 uncles, 7 aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Also longtime companion, "Itty Bitty" Darlene Fairly and special friend, "Kay Kay" Kasandra Griffin. He will be greatly missed. . SERVICES WEDNESDAY, MAR. 2; WAKE: 10:30 A.M., funeral: 11:00 A.M. at Open Door Baptist Church, 8215 Woodland Avenue. Interment in Cleveland Memorial Gardens.
