Lawrence Matthew Arnold Jr., 66, died of cancer on March 7, 2021, at Euclid Hospital. He was born, on June 22, 1954, in Cleveland Ohio, the son of the late Lawrence M. Arnold Sr. and Theresa Arnold Graves (Earl Graves).
Lawrence, known as "Larry", and "ZIP", graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1973, he attended John Hopkins University for one year, where he left to obtain a full-time job at Republic Steel, later LTV Steel, in 1975, and retired in 2006. Lawrence love to participate in all sports, his hobbies were basketball, tennis, ping-pong, bowling, and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by is only sister, Jacqueline Robinson.
He leaves behind three daughters of Cleveland Ohio, Melita Shannon Arnold, Terretha Shannon-Glenn (Stephon), and Chanel Hester (Eric); four grandsons of Cleveland Ohio, James K. Scott Jr, Corey L. Powell Jr, KeVonte Shannon-Scott, Malik Shannon-Scott; four granddaughters, Nahrhieya Glenn, Jamela Scott, Catori Bivins, and Leah Glenn; great grandson, James K. Scott III; Beverly Shannon, Theresa Goins; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, loved ones, family, and friends.
