La'Tanya Renee Jordan was born on June 7, 1956, to Irene Stokes and Walter Lee Jones Sr.
La'Tanya "Tangee" received the Lord early in life. She graduated from John Hay High School in June, 1975.
La'Tanya had a career in the dry-cleaning business where she mastered all positions. She had a passion for cooking and was a chef in the kitchen. La'Tanya was a collector of porcelain dolls and had a fashion for clothes she was a loving daughter sister and wife.
La'Tanya leaves to mourn her loving mother, Irene Stokes: father, Walter Lee Jones Sr; stepfather, Willie Stokes; brother, Walter Lee Jones Junior; and husband, Frank Jordan who preceded her and death; siblings, Richard Lanum, Renee Lanum, Kelly Lanum, Kimberly Lanum, Beatrice Lanum, Damon Lanum, Brandon Jones (Sarah Jones), LyShawn Jones; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
