Larry Thomas Cross

LARRY THOMAS CROSS, AGE 58; Made his transition on Wednesday, July 20th in Cleveland, Ohio, the city where he was born. Tommy was the third of six children born to L.T. and Raydell Sevier Cross. He attended Glenville High School, later attending Woodland Job Center where he obtained Electrician Certification. Tommy was employed at Walbash Alloyed Steel Mill Co. for 18 years. Larry was a humorous, loving and caring son, brother, father, uncle and friend. He did not allow Kidney disease to impact his life in a negative way. Tommy enjoyed listening to music and watching sports. His favorite teams were the Cleveland Browns & Cavaliers. He was ecstatic about being able to witness the Cleveland Cav's win the 2016 Championship. Tommy was a Jack of all trades "Mr that a Do" Last but not least a Lover (Love Her) not a fighter. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 Larry departed this life at the age of 58. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Prevearl Malone; parents, L.T. and Raydell Cross; brothers, Nathaniel Alford and Willie Cross. Tommy leaves to cherish his memory with his beloved daughters, Donna Smith (Sidney), Kay Mattice, Zynell Mattice; sons, LaAnthony Cross, Larry Mattice (Amatullah), Thomas Mattice; granddaughters, Dauntasia Jones, Zynia Blackwell; grandsons', Jaeden Smith, Larrion Mattice, Zarrion Mattice, Brandon Smith and Yaqoob Mattice; great granddaughter, Skylar Jones; sister, Zynell Harris; brothers, Terry Cross (Lisa) Eugene Kelly (Stephanie), and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, July 29; wake 10 AM and funeral at 10:30 AM at Watson's Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Avenue, 44016. He can be viewed by the public on Thursday, July 28 from 9 AM until 7 PM at the funeral home.
