Lamar M. Worship

LaMar Monte' Worship, Sr. was born January 5, 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio to the beloved Joyce E. Worship (deceased) and Nathaniel Jones. He received his education from the East Cleveland Public School District.

It was his mother and Grandmother, Bessie Harper, that cultivated his spiritual foundation. Whether, The House of Prayer or Temple Baptist Church, he was always under spiritual covering. As an adult, he frequently visited Christian Fellowship Center and recommitted to his Faith.

LaMar, like his mother, had the spirit of helping hands. His passion led him to the culinary industry. Later his servitude led to him working in healthcare, as a Porter at Cleveland Clinic Hospital Systems. He continued to enjoy and perfect his cooking until he was called home.

LaMar's love for family was exhibited by his presence at family gatherings or bringing friends together with laughter, games and sports. His favorite pastime was shooting pool, where he was known to be a front runner, and holiday meals with his loved ones.

He leaves his cherished memories to his daughters, Ashley Marie and Zameka; sons LaMar Monte' Jr. and Jordan Maxwell; one grandchild, Zamir; father, Nathaniel (Cheryl) Jones; sister, Naomi Marie; brothers, Steven Demetrious King, Willy K. (Shellsie), Damonien T. (Charlea), Torrey R.; special uncle, Martin (Patricia) Harper; dearest friend, LaGina M. White; East Cleveland brothers, Lance Houston, Darrell Marshall, Maurice Hollis, Lorenzo Scott, Jermaine Haislah, Robert Edwards, James Edwards Sr. and sisters, Alitra Scott and Tanesha Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
