Kristi Yvette Johnson was born on January 11, 1964 in Tuskegee, Alabama to Robert and Gladys Ellington. She was the first of their three children. She has two siblings, Anthony (Michelle) and Larice Ellington. They moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1967. Kristi was educated in the Cleveland Public School district. It was at Collinwood High School that she met Julius Johnson, her high school sweetheart. They married and five children were born from this union. Years later Kristi also had two other children. Kristi worked in the customer service and telemarketing field throughout her life. Kristi, like her mother, enjoyed going to the internet cafés and casino. The past five years Kristi suffered from Pulmonary Fibrosis which she succumbed to on September 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Ellington Sr. and her grandmother Rosetta Sistrounk Ellington. She leaves to mourn her parents Robert and Gladys Ellington, her daughters Thenesia Johnson, Angela Wilkes (Anthony) and Janaya Feaster her sons Julius Feaster, Eric Feaster, Terrence Feaster and Trevon. She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind a very special friend Mr. James House.
