While attending Shaker Heights High School, class of 1986, Keith participated in track and football earning accolades in both sports. Keith went on to play football at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio until a car accident led to him having to give up his college football career. Keith worked as a painter as a teenager for Russel L White Painting, a childhood friend's father's business. He went on to work as an American Express financial advisor before starting his own business, Pinnacle Paint and More eventually becoming a one woman, one man team with his wife Kyra Bremer.
Keith was always working and extending himself to his beloved church family at East Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he was ordained as a Deacon September 2nd 2012. He also served the church as the assistant treasurer, a lifeline food bank volunteer, became the financial secretary and served on the trustee board for over 10 years.
Along with his active church participation, and his business Keith always made it to his son's sporting events and his daughter's many activities into their adulthood supporting them through life. Keith was always volunteering and was very involved with Lutheran West High School where all three of his children attended. He also was the track coach for their elementary schools 5th-6th grade team at St. John Nottingham Lutheran Elementary and traveled to away games with the middle school boys basketball team devoting his time as the team score keeper. Keith loved cheering on his children and extended that love to their friends and classmates.
Keith was proud to see all three of his children through college graduation together with his wife Kyra Vaughn from Cleveland Heights, Ohio who he married August, 1st 1992. Keith and Kyra have been married 29 years and have three children together; daughter Kamille, and his sons Kameron and Kristian. Keith was a devoted father and husband always showing his love for his family through his actions.
In addition to his wife and three children, Keith is survived by his mother Marlys Bremer (predeceased by his father Alonzo Bremer), younger sister Karla Bremer-Pryce (George), his younger brother Kevin Bremer (Kymberly), and his close Aunt Darlene Reid along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, his four nephews Damon, Travis, Dominic, Kaion, niece Katerina, and many, many cousins and friends.
Keith and his big personality has left a big hole in his family and community. Keith always had a corny joke to share and always loved to share his sense of humor with those he loved. Keith was always up to talk sports or share funny memes on the internet. If you have ever visited him he made sure you were well fed as he enjoyed sharing his cooking with others. When not working or fixing things around the house and yard he was usually napping which he loved to do.
The funeral service will be held at East Mt. Zion, on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at 11:00am. A visitation before the service will begin at 10:30am. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.
