Josephine Campbell

Raised by Janie Campbell (deceased), Josephine Campbell was born September 21, 1924, along with her twin sister, Jeanette Smith(deceased) in Macon, Georgia. Her family moved to Cleveland, Ohio in the early 1960s. Josephine found Christ at an early age and attended Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church in Cleveland and has been a loyal and faithful member ever since. Josephine began working at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in 1964 as a Surgical tech specialist until her retirement in January of 1985. Josephine enjoyed her many pets, playing card games, cooking Sunday dinner for the family and just enjoyed life to the fullest. Josephine is preceded in death by her twin sister Jeanette Smith, her adopted mother, Janie Campbell, her sister, Mary Perdue and her niece, Sandra K. Bennett. Josephine is survived by her nephew, Collins J. Bennett, Sr.; three great-nephews, Thomas (Monica), Collins, Jr. (Paula) and Anthony (Musett) as well as a host of great-great nieces, nephews, and other friends.
