Joe, Nothing could be more beautiful than the memories we have of you. To us, you were someone special. God must have thought so too. No one will ever know the happiness you brought us. If we could make steps of hard aches, and use our teardrops, we'd build a stairway to heaven and climb each day to see you. It broke our hearts when you left us, but you did not go alone, part of us went with you the day God called you home.
Joseph Marcus Presley was born on December 16, 1969 in Starkville, MS to Winbott and Cathy Presley. Joseph accepted Christ at an early age. Joseph, affectionately known as Joe, was the first born sibling to Wimberly Charice, Winthia Cherida and Cathryn Deniece. Joe grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Fairfax Elementary, Roxboro Junior High School and Cleveland Heights High School. We're going back to Joe's school years as these were most memorable to him. During High School, Joe joined "The Brothers" organization. He held the same love for the organization today just as he did back then. He acknowledged each member as his own brother and always spoke with pride about each one. Once Joe graduated from high school, he served in United States Army as a Medic. Shortly thereafter and following in his dad's and uncles' footsteps, Joe proudly became a Mason. Inshort, Joe loved being around the people he called his friends.
Joe worked for the Veterans Administration until he was called home by the lord at 2:17 pm on March 4, 2022. Joe had one daughter (Amberly Ashanti) and one niece (Jaya Sky) who preceded him in death. Joe leaves the following to cherish his memory:
Son: Joseph Marcus Presley II

Note from Mama- Joseph, we had a very special bond between us as mother and son. As the years passed, the bond became stronger. I will always remember the happy memories, confidences shared and that beautiful smile that you inherited from me.
Note from Dad- Son, I love you and I will miss you. I will miss our conversations, our laughs and most importantly, the times we spent together. You brought me so much joy, even when you would steal my car to hang out with your friends.
Note from Ree (Wimberly)- Although I don't physically see you, I feel your presence daily as you walk beside me. It comforts me to know that you are at peace and you are no longer tired. Hug and kiss Amberly for me. I love you!
Note from Winthia (Winthy)- Joe, I'd like to thank you for being the best big brother I could ask for. You treated me just like your little brother... from taking me to dog fights, smoothering me with blankets, to putting Ree in Full Nelson wrestling move when she'd mess with me. My personal favorite watching the new line Brothers "orientation" and reminiscing over all that during our road trips to go see mom & dad. I am so proud to be "Joe's little sister", going to miss big brother... until we meet again.
Note from Cathryn (Cat)- Joe Joe, I remember you running around house in jogging pants, no shirt and Kangol hat swearing you were LL Cool J. Singing the lyrics to "I'm Bad". Break Dancing and using mom's Jet magazine to spin on your head to "Music Makes You Loose Control". I looked up to so much cause you showed me my Teddy Roxpin could sing NWA. Going to miss you. Love Cat
