Johnnie Glaspy was born July 11, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Robert & Annie Mae Glaspy.
Johnnie attended Cleveland Public Schools later graduating from Thomas Edison High School, where he studied wood work. Johnnie worked for U.S. Steel approximately eighteen years, Cleveland Recycle and later finding new employment with Roger Intergenerational Nursing Facility where he worked for approximately twenty years.
Johnnie loved scratch off lottery tickets, shooting pool, dancing (he was the life of the party), and spending time with those he loved. He was a great FRIEND, BROTHER, UNCLE, COUSIN and most importantly a FATHER.
Johnnie leaves to mourn two loving children, Sylvester aka "Fella", and Salondra aka "Cherise"; five grandchildren, Dayzane, Sydney, Dominic, Kera, and Davonna (who preceded him in death); two sisters, Villa Mae Allen (John), and Mildred; one brother, Freddie (who preceded him in death); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, employees, and neighborhood folks past and present. Special recognition to Shawna, William (Tiffany), Lateef (Yetunda), and Danielle, with whom he had a special bond.
